What is the safety factor of a leaf chain?
Leaf chain should not exceed a speed of 98 feet per minute. Typically, a safety factor of 7:1 is suitable for forklift truck use, while 9:1 is recommended for medium shock loading, and 11:1 for heavy shock loading situations. It's essential to request certificates of proof loading for lifting applications to ensure safety and compliance.
