The sprocket material should ensure that the sprocket has sufficient contact strength and wear resistance, so the tooth surface is heat-treated. Low speed, light load, smooth transmission, medium carbon steel; medium carbon steel adopts medium speed and medium load quenching, and the hardness is higher than HRC40~45. High-speed, heavy-duty, continuous working transmission, low-carbon steel appearance carburizing and quenching (such as 15, 20Cr, 12CrNi3 steel quenching to HRC55~60). Or quench the surface of medium carbon steel (such as 45, 400Cr, 50Mn2, 35CrMnSi, 45crni, etc.) to HRC45~55.
